I am a keen 20th century military historian with a particular interest in US WW2 operations and regularly attend WW2 and re-enactment events  where I meet many of my loyal customers & good friends.

Rally of the Giants - Blenheim - 27th July 2014 - Fancy a change - come and see some of the finest American cars ranging from the 30s to the modern day at this  extravaganza of Yankee automobiles.  Forties and Fifties clothing optional you wont be out of place.  Great day in a superb setting at Blenheim Palace Oxon

Peak Rail WW2 2nd - 3rd August 14 - 2nd August 2014 - Nice friendly event ran over two days at the Peak Railway north of Matlock Derbyshire on the A6.  Trading from  the top station at Rowsley . Full itinerary for the weekend - WW2 vehicles, troops & skirmish, entertainment on Sat night etc.

Operation Seagull - Cleethorpes - 9th&10th Aug 14 - 9th August 2014 - In its third year and growing nicely with this two day event taking place on the Cleethorpes foreshore. I will be in with the military stalls in the Meridian area. Plenty to see and do 5 battle scenarios a day plus Paul Harper entertaining.  Come & join us.

Twinwood Festival 23rd - 25th August 2014 - 23rd August 2014 - Three days of great 40s swing and R & B music set in the old airfield that Glenn Miller flew from in WW2.  David and his team have kept the old buildings to give a great setting for this festival with 80 plus traders selling related items. Poppy Line 1940s Event 20th - 21st 2014 - 20th September 2014 - Two days - Sat & Sunday. One of my favourite shows - friendly crowd , well organised. Traders & WW2 vehicles are at Holt on the railway station & trains run from Sheringham to Holt regularly. Lots to do -starting to be like a smaller Pickering in the Fens !! Fort in the Forties - Gravesend 27th to 28th Sept 14 - 27th September 2014 - New event for me ran by my good mates including Wil & dodgy Mick who attend the Chatham military show & centred on the old fort at Gravesend but sounds good so Im giving it a shot. Pickering War Weekend - Friday to Sunday - 11th October 2014 - Long standing 1940s event centred on Pickering N.Yorks which attracts several hundred re-enactors and thousands of the public. We will be trading in the Memorial Hall (opp Beck Isle Museum) on the first floor together with 4 more top quality 40s traders to make this a high quality trading venue. To see us  - go to the bottom of the High St - straight up  50 yds & over the hump back bridge - and we are immediately on the left.
